Does a paid listing help SEO?
Short answer: it can give you a public URL that mentions your site. It does not buy a position on Google. Search engines decide rankings from their own systems. We do not sell those.

What a listing actually is
Each listing gets a page at /rank/{handle} with the name, category, amount, and outbound link. Other pages on this site can link to it. That is a public mention on outbidme.world.
What it is not
It is not a backlink in the SEO sense, and it passes no link value. Outbound links to listed sites are marked rel="sponsored nofollow", and the listing page sends visitors through a click counter at /rank/{handle}/go, which robots.txt blocks search engines from crawling. That is deliberate: Google treats a paid link that passes ranking credit as a link scheme. We do not promise Domain Rating, traffic from Google, or a featured snippet.
Google Search Essentials still apply to your own site: useful content, no cloaking, no link schemes. A listing here does not patch a thin page.
When it is still worth it
If you want people who already open this leaderboard to see your name at a public price, pay for the rank. If your only goal is “rank #1 on Google for a head term,” this is the wrong product. Use the SEO board as a listing, not as a ranking package.
